All scans are color and contrast controlled and sharpened as needed individually on a image to image basis, and include dust and scratch removal via "Digital Ice" (except B&W negatives)and are burned to CD or DVD. 35mm Slides and Negatives -- from Nikon LS4000 ED scanner -- 4,000-dpi true optical-resolution scanning, 14-bit A/D converter incorporating 16-/8-bit output for vivid images for 35mm slides or negatives. We scan your 35mm slide film or negative film into an sRGB color space. The file size is approximately 25mb. It is an uncompressed TIFF file, and will give excellent prints up to 12" x 18" and very good quality prints up 24' x 36" Jpeg files option -- a second compressed jpeg version of each image in 2 sizes (1 approx size of 7 mb for smaller prints and 1 approx. 200K - 300K for web and emailFrontier scans are perfect for website, email and prints up to 8x12.

Legal-size scan area up to 8.5" x 14" for flat copy, your original photographs and artwork 4"x5" film, and medium format film up to 6x17-cm panoramic. Jpeg files option -- a second compressed jpeg version of each image in 2 sizes (1 approx size of 7 mb for smaller prints and 1 approx. 200K - 300K for web and emailFrontier scans are perfect for website, email and prints up to 8x12.
